Entry Level Programmer

Job Description

• HTML, Java Script, and VB Script
• Front-end and back-end programming: ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and SQL
• Microsoft .NET: ASP.NET and C#
• CSS, Table-less design
• XML

Software Requirements:

• HTML
• Microsoft .NET: ASP.NET and VB.NET
• Dreamweaver

Other Skills:

• Prefer 1-2 years minimum experience
• Prefer experience in building applications that are cross-browser and CSS compliant
• SQL Server 2000 database a plus
• Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work within a project-based environment by frequently multi-tasking projects.
• Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient
• Must be able to function independently and still work well in a “team oriented” environment.

Parts / Service Management

Job Purpose:

 
Duties:

• Develop and follow an annual service/parts budget to provide realistic, attainable and measurable service/parts profit goals compatible with overall Dealership financial and operational objectives.
• Provide the leadership role regarding recruitment, screening and hiring of service/parts personnel.
• Maintain all management reports necessary to audit the performance of department and individual employees.
• Develop, maintain and adhere to a priority system for scheduling all service/parts work, both customer and internal.
• Ensure that all Warranty Claims on parts are completed according to manufacturer’s requirements.
• Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure that Parts Department is equipped with the necessary special tools and parts equipment is available and maintained in good working order.
• Coordinate Dealership training program and parts-related customer clinics.
• Always conduct self so as to present a professional image of the dealership.
• Monitor metrics on a monthly basis to assure achievement of departmental goals.
• Perform other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of the dealership.
• Ensure all receivables for parts and service collected from customers are collected in a timely manner.
   
  Skills/Qualifications:
  
  * 5+ years work related experience
  * Previous supervisory or management experience preferred but not required.
  * Ability to write and work on routine reports and correspondence.
  * Ability to speak effectively one on one or before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  * Ability to interpret department financial statements.
  * Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
  * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

• Sells products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer's needs.
• Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledge all customers he/she comes in contact with.
• Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
• Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur.
• Provide service technicians with parts as required.
• Assist with Parts Manager in merchandising displays.
• Maintains the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and today's customer satisfaction.
• Assists in the controls of inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the organization of products and the retail sales area.
• When working the parts counter, follows prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership.
• Processes cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at a point of sale.
• Attends training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.
• Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
• Performs other tasks as required by Parts Manger.
• Keeps himself/herself groomed and clothed per the dealership guidelines.
• Verify receiving documents.
• Assist putting up stock orders in a timely manner.
• Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
• Should be knowledgeable in merchandising

Mechanic

Job Purpose:

Duties:

• Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
• Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventative maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades.
• Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts or systems such as power drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics, valve mechanisms, oil systems, control linkages and clutches.
• Prepares and installs modifications by working on heavy-duty new and used garbage trucks.
• Maintains safe vehicle operation by passing DOT Inspections following standards and procedures.
• Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
