Job Purpose:
To answer customer questions, generate new garbage truck sales leads, and provide superior customer service to existing customers.

Duties:

  • Maintain and create strong relationship with customers.
  • Generate new truck sales leads through extensive cold-calling.
  • Ability to answer detailed information about the vehicles for the customer to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Various responsibilities as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:
Outside sales experience, prefer experience and knowledge of selling Garbage trucks, roll-off trucks and/or grapple trucks, Ability to Close a Sale, Reliability, Loyalty and Strong Ethics are a must!

RDK Truck Sales is looking to fill a position in our Parts Sales department. Must have experience selling parts in the Garbage/Refuse Truck industry.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating parts needs and concerns with customers and service department.
  • Ordering, receiving and distributing parts in a timely manner to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Selling additional parts/service to customers in order to maximize profits.
  • Preparation, collection and posting of invoices.
  • Compile estimates for parts, shipping and any other expenses associated with the customer’s request.
  • Willing to do telemarketing/cold calling to company database supplied customers and prospects for parts sales as needed.

This is a full-time permanent position with extremely competitive pay, excellent benefits and a chance to move out of that cold northern weather down to the pristine beaches of the Gulf of Mexico! Must have experience in the Garbage/Refuse Truck industry. RDK Truck Sales is a full-service refuse truck dealership in Tampa Florida.

We have an immediate opportunity for a Service Manager in Southwest Florida.  We are seeking a candidate with high energy and attention to detail in serving the customer. Candidates must have the ability to lead the Service Department in a teamwork environment while adhering to the company’s Core Values.

The Service Department is an integral and vital part of the dealership, and the manner in which it builds open, honest, trusting relationships with customers and other departments is essential to the dealership’s success. The Service Manager takes the lead role in managing an efficient and profitable Service Department through productive staffing, customer retention, technician training, and quality workmanship while improving productivity and reducing costs to meet company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of managerial experience in the refuse truck industry is required
  • College or Trade School education is desired, but not required.
  • Maintain a high degree of product and technical knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and the company’s Core Values
  • Have a valid Florida driver’s license with the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle priorities as necessary
  • Must have superior problem-solving skills to achieve a win-win solution.
